I thought at first that I remembered this word to be some literary designation, like “alliteration” or a some kind of poetic form like “dithyramb”, but it is even better: “the journey of changing one’s heart, mind or self.”  (props: unusedwords.com),  ☺

Passion

The wonderful The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano reminded me of the absolutely unquestioned, matter-of-fact passion I shared with most of my friends when we were in college.  We were going to save the world!  Do kids have the same passion today?  I surely hope so.

the weaponizing strategy

I’ve come to the conclusion that the misdirection gun advocates are employing is to cite legit problems and propose weaponizing as a solution.  It is like using a Bowie knife to clean your fingernails and expressing enormous pride in your hygiene.
